TWISTIE Snowflake hanging decoration

 Twistie Snowflake in two sizes was assembled into a hanging object for the window 

together with my glass icicle (handmade from Czech glass on the glass burner) 

and with Czech pressed glass beads.

Twistie hanging decoration - one side with dark glass stones another one with crystal stones.

Twistie Snowflake Tutorial is available in my bead store, classic snowflake size is about 5 cm. Smaller snowflake diameter is about 3 cm and is made using the same design (smaller beading frames have shorter arms with 3 holes in each arm only).

We need to make the snowflake double-sided, because hanging decorations rotate and must be viewed from both sides.  Keep in mind that you need special Spirala Beading Frames to make these flakes - tutorial is useless without buying them.

Twistie is a one sided design, but can be beaded as a double sided snowflake too 

- you need practice and thinking about the process :) 

Some people who have practiced can do it - for those who need a how-to, I'm preparing a mini extension of the instructions for the double-sided version.

There are two snowflake designs on the picture above - Twistie is the darker one, white decoration is created using Himena Snowflake from previous post.

The length of the whole hanging decoration (without the fishing line) is about 17 cm.
