 Mám ráda podzim, je tak živý, barevný a hravý... 

Poslední zbytky sluníčka se střídají s mlhou, deštěm, vítr zvedá listy a ty s ním tančí...

Na polích, na stromech a keřích dozrávají plody - všechno to mám na podzimu moc ráda. 

Asi nejvíc ale miluji bobule - šípky, jeřabiny, trnky - vlastně ani nevím proč :-)

 

Podzim je trochu melancholický, ale není smutný. 

Život neodchází, zas se vše probudí. 

Podzim je prostě takový, jak jej vnímáme a jak jej vidět chceme.

Podzim je takový, jaký si jej uděláme...

The Last Rose of Summer

The Last Rose of Summer Beaded Bead - designed for Rutkovsky Beads 

June 2020 with their Peony Petal Beads.

"The Last Rose of Summer" 

is a poem by the Irish poet Thomas Moore. He wrote it in 1805, while staying at Jenkinstown Park in County Kilkenny, Ireland, where he was said to have been inspired by a specimen of Rosa 'Old Blush'. Wikipedia

„Poslední růže léta“ je báseň irského básníka Thomase Moora . Napsal ji v roce 1805, když pobýval v parku Jenkinstown v hrabství Kilkenny v Irsku, kde byl údajně inspirován růží „Old Blush“.

The Last Rose of Summer

 

'Tis the last rose of summer,

    Left blooming alone;

All her lovely companions

    Are faded and gone;

No flower of her kindred,

    No rose-bud is nigh,

To reflect back her blushes

    Or give sigh for sigh!

 

I'll not leave thee, thou lone one.

    To pine on the stem;

Since the lovely are sleeping,

    Go, sleep thou with them;

Thus kindly I scatter

    Thy leaves o'er the bed,

Where thy mates of the garden

    Lie scentless and dead.

 

So soon may I follow,

    When friendships decay,

And from love's shining circle

    The gems drop away!
