Pinch-bead Flower Beaded Bead - Kytičková koule z pohanky
Material:
* 90 pinch beads
* or 30 pinch dark colored pinch beads + 60 light colored pinch beads for bicolor beaded bead (2 colors are better for beginners)
* fishing line or fireline (0.14-0.16 mm) and needle (using beading thread is not recommended, but if are not able to use fishing line or fireline, it is possible to use thread - beaded bead will be not so stiff)
* plastic or wooden core bead (14-18 mm)
Make triangle from 3 pinch beads
5 pinch triangles are forming one "pinch flower"
First pinch-flower module finished...

Try it, it is easy - simple puzzle.
A little math training for your brain - 12 pinch flower modules are forming dodecahedron.
Keep beading, follow shape and you will get dodecahedron beaded bead :-) - 16-18 mm plastic or wooden bead fits inside depending from pinch bead size and shape.
Second way for making this type of beaded bead is to form classic dodecahedron beaded bead from pinch beads (if your don´t have enough pinch beads, you can create the base using 4 mm fire polished). It is basic beaded bead, you can find many patterns on internet (

2,
3,
4,...)
You can get the same shape by building pinch flowers over each pentagon.
Beaded bead made this way will be smaller, more solid, and flower modules will stand more upright. For beaded beads made this method 12 mm or 14 mm plastic or wooden bead fits inside (depending from pinch bead size and shape).

You can embellish your beaded bead with various bead types.
For more complicated decorating fits better beaded bead made the first method (with spring green pinch beads). It is not so tight and you can thread through the beads easier.
For this project (beige beaded bead):
* 90 pcs pinch beads size 5x3 mm (or 30 fire polished inside and 60 pinch beads outside)
* 12 pcs TOHO size 8
* 12 pcs O-beads
* 12 pcs TOHO size 15
