 Like a flowering Poppy Field

Yes, I know, Poppy has 4 petals mostly, BUT...
 Regular dodecahedron is composed of twelve regular pentagonal faces AND
I am botanist and I know... :-)

Wikipedia (and other resources): The flowers have two sepals that fall off as the bud opens, 

and four (or up to six) petals in red, pink, orange, yellow, or lilac.
